Singapore's ST Engineering unit to provide telephony server products to Airbus

SINGAPORE, Sep 26, 2005 (XFN-ASIA via COMTEX) -- ST Engineering said its US unit VT Miltope's telephony server and cabin access point products have been selected by Airbus to provide wireless Local Area Network (LAN) connectivity on Airbus' A380 aircraft.

In addition, VT Miltope's telephony servers have been selected for Airbus' Onboard Mobile Phone System, ST Engineering said.

VT Miltope is owned by Vision Technologies Systems Inc, a wholly-owned unit of ST Engineering.
